Hi guys, today I have the honor to show you my new add on for my camera.
The ND Filter from K&F Concepts.
Big question: What is a ND Filter?
Neutral Density (ND) filters reduce the intensity of all wavelengths, or colors, of light equally from entering the camera, in measured amounts. This allows the photographer more control in selecting shutter speed and aperture combinations in a variety of conditions. I was super excited, since I am always struggling with sun flare. I hate that it makes the photo look washed out. So today I gave it a shot. Continue reading to see how it went!
But first:
Some Features that K&F Concept mentions on their homepage:
It came in a super cute box with an amazing protection case, which makes it amazingly easy to bring to your shootings!
NOW! Let’s talk business!
I am going to attach a reference photo from my shooting with and without the filter!
Left picture with filter, right without! You might think, it does not look like a lot of a difference, BUT let me tell you one thing! I added my presets and it was the easiest adjustment I’ve ever done! Plus the sun did not wash out any of my pictures at all! As you can see, the objects pop way more when it comes to the filter! The whites are cleaner, and the subjects are not “one” with the background.
Would I recommend the filter?
BIG YES, for these reasons:
It wouldn’t be a good recommendation if I would not have the homepages for you plus some amazing discount codes!
ND2-ND400 filter on K&F Concept shop: https://bit.ly/3jQa13u with a 10% OFF code: KF10US
ND2-ND400 filter on Amazon US: 10% OFF code: KFCUF004 valid until August 31
I used a 35mm lens and ordered a 67mm. Make sure to check your lens before ordering. Usually you can find the size on your lens cap or the lens itself. Otherwise, google can be a good helper!
Let me know what you think about a filter, if you are using one already, or why you think it’s not a good purchase.
I can’t wait for your experiences.
